“At Memorial Medical, we pride ourselves on three things; great patient experiences, great outcomes, and being a great place to work. The Proprio® 5000 contributes to all of them.”

Without it, I wouldn’t be walking. Since I don’t have knees anymore I have to get used to walking from my hips. At Christmas time, I got my prosthetic legs. It’s like walking on stilts; you have to think through every step you take. The PROPRIO® 5000 helps you learn to balance on a platform that moves in every direction. Now I’ve graduated to stairs and hills. Rehabilitation centers can help so many more people with this one piece of rehab equipment.”

“I have Meniere’s Disease...an inner ear affliction that causes my ears to feel full, neck aches, headaches, and nausea… I was working with my therapist with some results, but I was making slow progress...
Then my therapist referred me to a study going on using the Proprio®...It has now been several months since I finished my treatments, my nausea is gone along with the neck aches and headaches. This therapy has made a real difference in the quality of life for me.”

- Sherry, Vestibular patient who participated in a study at Regis University exploring the effectiveness of the PROPRIO®

“We purchased our 1st Proprio® 5000 and a 2nd unit 12 months later. Let me emphasize this point – the Proprio® 5000 is not a “balance” device – it is much more. We have managed to develop and expand clinic specific protocols that are used in a very wide range of Pt types. Financially the device has more than paid for itself. If marketed and utilized well – this can truly be used to build your business.”

“This machine gives great feedback and objective data, which allows us to track a patient’s progress and provide useful and reliable information to physicians. I can’t tell you how many times I have had athletes, coaches and the athletes’ parents say that they feel and look like they have more balance and stability on the court or field. The best of all is that the athletes enjoy working on the Proprio® 5000. It is a definite advantage.”

Manager of Sports Medicine
Decatur Memorial Hospital

“Decatur Memorial Hospital has identified many uses for the machine. Our physical therapists and athletic trainers use the machine almost continuously. Patients with trunk and lower extremity injuries as well as post surgery patients are referred for rehabilitation with the PROPRIO® 5000. Major local industrial employers prescreen all of their new employees with the PROPRIO® Test.”

- Timothy D. Stone, Jr.
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

“Without the machine, we wouldn’t have been able to improve the proprioception and balance of key players as quickly. The functional training allows them to feel more confident in their recovery and concentrate more on their on-the-field play than on their injuries. We use the PROPRIO® 5000 on a daily basis. We use the machine to perform baseline tests for all of our players during the off-season. This way, if a player gets injured during the season, I can compare his progress to his baseline test. This testing also gives us a chance to check our players for any type of postural deficiencies they may have, and correct them before it causes an injury.”
