OUR STORY
Our mousetrap story began with a tennis ball sized rock. While hiking in the Cascade Mountains in Washington, Clifford Perry had the fortunately unfortunate accident of turning his ankle on a rock. After a few long weeks of therapy on wobble boards and foam rolls, he developed an idea for a better mousetrap.
Unlike most of us with ideas for a better product, Clifford has an inventor brother and engineer nephew, Don and Joe Perry. Don and his son Joe were able to pull together a team of entrepreneurial physicians, therapists, engineers, business people, and sports fanatics to begin working on a better orthopedic rehabilitation and muscle strengthening device.
After many months speaking and learning from interested stakeholders, drawing with our number 2 pencils, drinking gallons of coffee, and fitting square pegs in round holes, the PROPRIO® 5000 Reactive Balance System was created. A NASA space launch would have been easier.
Pretty soon we were changing people’s lives. Rehabilitation and training was not only better, but actually fun.
The PROPRIO® revolution has begun and is being led by the most progressive rehabilitation clinics, hospitals, researchers and sports organizations in the country.
